trying to tame the men and women with her Jesus manner
her quiet voice beating us into song
and soon the water that was loose
has become a cube
and the song will sound like you can hold it
in a hand

the mountains are hiding behind a small veil of fog
quiet today

I feel at rest in this place
like
I already knew it before
like
it feels like my bedroom
instead of
a foreign country
